Introducing the MarketCrash blog
MarketCrash changes most weeks, but until now the only record was the commit history. This blog fixes that. Each week we will post what shipped: new indicator pages, new screens, fixes to the data, and anything that changes how a number is read.
Corrections to the data itself still go to the data changelog, dated and never edited. The blog covers everything else.
What shipped recently
- Embeddable indicator cards. Each of the six indicator pages now has its own card you can paste into a site as an iframe. They are all listed on the embed page.
- CSV download. Data pages link a CSV of exactly what they show: the strait transits with their baselines, BDC prices against filed NAV, and each weekly screener run.
- Last good value when a source is down. When a source like FRED times out, the site now serves the last good reading and reloads in the background, instead of showing "No data" for an hour.
- A shorter weekly digest. The email used to list every reading. It now names the five biggest moves in plain words, with units, and shows the scores once.
